CABLE INSTALLATION

P-trans cables are made from high quality plain copper wire and PVC compounds to insure best working performance and long life use.

The common wiring installation , however use a general purpose PVC , which has a maximum operating temperature of 70 °C ( described in BS 7655) should not be installed or fixed when air temperature is near or below 0 °C. At temperature about 0 °C plastic cables begin to be stiff and should not bent sharply when install, therefore prior to installation, cables should be stored for at least 24 hours in a dry warm place.

Usually, cables regain their normal flexibility at high temperature more than 0 °C. And for outdoor use, we found out from experience the (black) sheath cables have the highest resistance to direct sunlight.

According to proper Installation regulations, bending radius (minimum internal radius of bend) is subject to the following rules:

  • Single stranded PVC insulation cables ( H05V-R) and ( H07V-R)
  • Single flexible PVC insulation cables ( H03V-K) and ( H05V-K)

P-trans cables are extremely undergo test and inspection process at each stage of production including raw material, in-process, and finished product inspections.

P-trans cables have a smooth and bright finish surface and are continuously marked with "p-trans" by jet printing ink or embossing on the external cable sheathing.
